International Film & Moving Image (London) – Fraud

On May 12th, a large amount of kit was fraudulently hired by people claiming to be from International Film & Moving Image (London).
Names given were James Ashbey & Jane Firenze.
The references they gave (Media HQ & Lighting Hire LTD) turned out to be false.
Kit was collected by an individual who used the name Billy Mansell – using a passport as ID.  A small extract from that is below, featuring a photograph of him.

Procam – Fraud by ‘Robert Jones’

Procam London have been the victims of  a fraud involving somebody pretending to work for one of their clients.

A spoofed insurance document was also provided.

The gentlemen used the name Robert Jones and the email address of handsworthmagic@icloud.com

Performance insurance have alerted us that the following company details are being used to commit fraud.

International Film and Moving Image (London) Ltd, The Fyzz Facility and Film Two Limited.

These appear to be once legitimate entities who details have been used without permission.

Fyzz Facility have spoofed insurance documents.

Please let us know if you are approached by any of these companies.

Media HQ Ltd

Shift 4 have been approached for a hire by a company calling themselves Media HQ Ltd.

Although there appears to be a legitimate but dormant company with similar details, this appears to be an attempt at fraud using those details without permission.

The company and its references all have websites set up on the 9th and 10th May 2016 – just a couple of days before the request to hire.

If you are approached by The Media HQ Ltd, Lighting for hire Ltd or Lighting Hire Uk Ltd then please proceed with caution.
