Several companies have reported this afternoon that they are getting suspect calls to request equipment from someone using the name Craig Walker, purporting to be from ITV but using a generic gmx email account.
‘Craig’ has a PO which he is sending out which looks very much like ITV paperwork. He is trying to hire DSLR cameras and lenses which are obviously highly saleable.
Please be vigilant and verify hires from unknown contacts at major broadcasters. When this style of fraud has happened before the perpetrators have moved between BBC, ITV and C4 with ease.

Bristol – theft from vehicle.
The kit was taken from a grey van on St Andrews Road, Montpelier, Bristol between 1230 – 1340 on 24/02/2021.

‘Sakaria Mohammed’ has struck again.
Someone using the (possibly false) name of Sakaria Abdallah Mohammed hired a large quantity of equipment from John Fry.
IDs and proofs of address were provided but the kit has not been returned.
